Planned Giving
Planned Gifts offer donors a win-win proposition:
-providing financial and tax benefits to individuals and their families, while
-bestowing a lasting gift and long-term financial security to Opera Saratoga.
Opera Saratoga has for many years relied on planned gifts to support its continued success in Saratoga Springs and beyond. The 2011 Society was establishing during our 50th Anniversary Season to recognize individuals who have made Planned Gifts to the Opera and to ensure that their legacy endures in perpetuity.
There are many planned giving options, and given their complexity, it’s best to have a discussion with your attorney, accountant, or financial planner regarding which options will provide the most substantial benefits for you and your family. These are just a few of Opera Saratoga’s planned giving options:
- Bequests
- Beneficiary Designations
- Charitable Gift Annuities
- Charitable Lead Trusts
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Donor Advised Funds
- Memorial and Honorary Gifts
The Opera Saratoga staff is here to help you navigate the planned giving process. In just a few minutes, we can provide you with the additional information needed to better understand various planned giving relationships. If you need help choosing a financial planner or attorney to assist you in this process, we would be happy to provide you with a list of local firms we’ve worked with in the past.
