Join us as we celebrate the 200th Birthday of the great American poet and “father of free verse,” Walt Whitman. Composers have long been attracted to Whitman’s evocative poetry. This special recital features a variety Whitman song settings by Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Weill, Marc Blitzstein, Ned Rorem, Ernst Bacon and William Bolcom and more!
